Nadia joined Porter & Powers after six years working in-house in the energy industry. As a transactional lawyer, she fine-tuned her negotiation skills, becoming known for successfully closing especially difficult deals. Prior to her time in-house, she worked at a well-known personal injury firm in downtown Houston. Nadia graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2012 and was licensed in November 2012.
Nadia was born and raised in Barbados, after which she attended the University of Georgia. She continues to support the Bulldogs as the director of the Young Alumni of the Houston Dawgs. She also supports the Barbados Association of Texas and is a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. Nadia spends most of her time away from work with her daughter.
